Professor Bosshard graduated magna cum laude from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. After graduation, he obtained a Ph.D. in Intellectual Property law from University of Pavia. Professor Bosshard began his professional career in the law firm of Professor Adriano Vanzetti and went on to become one of the first members of Gianni Origoni & Partners Intellectual Property Office.

Since 2000 he has assisted the clients of the intellectual property consulting firm Modiano ed Associati in litigation matters.

Professor Bosshard was professor of international economic law and intellectual property law at Parma University and has held a number of national and international academic posts especially at Universities in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is currently a faculty member of the intellectual property masters degree programme at the OMPI in Turin, headed by Professor Marco Ricolfi.

Mark Bosshard is member of the Milan Bar Association.

He works in Italian, English and Spanish.
